Holy crap! I don't know if you guys have watched the special features on the PoA dvd yet, but there is a interview under the "Divination Class" with Cuaron and Rowling and they're talking about the movie. And Rowling says that Cuaron has put things in PoA that forwshadow the last two books without knowing it and that we're going to look back on the movie and think these clues were purposely dropped. Thoughts?

She is completely right. In an effort to make the movies somewhat more "interesting" the crew of PoA completely ruined it for the fortcoming movies. Everything was really obvious in the 3RD MOVIE.There was not a "surprise twist moment" like in the books. that sucked because i feel bad for all the kids who have never read the books and just see the movies. in fact they missed out on a whole lot of stuff that was really important. Example Stan Shunpike was did not even give his dialogue on how Sirius Black fits into the story and his character was not established . this directly show the effect in GoF where in the quidditch world cup stan talks to the veela and boasts and then in book 6 Stan is arrested for suspicion of being a DEATH EATER.Now they'll just introduce him out of nowhere in the sixth movie. Then of course there is the convo that mcgonagall, fudge and rosmerta and hagrid have in madam rosmertas at honeydukes. what a waste of time and they never said the important bits.
